If you’ve been subjected to the hyped-up ad copy and marketing emails of paid survey programs – you’ve likely been overwhelmed with facts, figures, and questionable claims about how much you can earn by doing the paid survey thing. Sure, you know that people make money doing online surveys, but how much can you really make?
Unfortunately, there are no set-in-stone answers to this question. While we can absolutely generalize estimated earnings based on averages, your earnings by doing paid surveys could differ; you could make less, or you could make more than average. Because both the pay scale and the degree of difficulty of each paid survey, which dictates the amount of time they take, can differ substantially even while performing surveys for the exact same company – our best guess estimates here are exactly that.
Quite honestly, there are individuals who earn in excess of $1000 per month filling out online surveys by putting in part-time hours, and there are others who put in full-time hours to receive $200 at the end of the month. Paid surveys tend to pay anywhere from $2 per survey to as much as $10 per survey, or even a little bit more. In terms of the amount of time that it takes to complete a survey – this varies as well. 2. Sometimes you may get lucky and stumble upon a paid survey opportunity that offers decent-or-better pay. Again, these are few and far between, but technically, these better-paying gigs make the hyped-up claims on these paid survey program websites technically accurate.
At the end of the day, the average person could bring in anywhere from $50 extra per month to $300 extra per month by filling out online surveys on a semi-regular basis. Unless you have a great deal of experience with the paid survey market, though, it is simply unrealistic to think that you are going to earn several thousand dollars per month when you first start out. Quite honestly, for many people – they never will be able to attain this level of success with online surveys.
