Even though we do not see the whole of the story, these calamities must take place. They unfold just like a precious flower bud or just as in the miracle of birth. The birthing of all things carries the unfolding of pain so that our hearts may be able to stand in the celebration of the most powerful light.
Yes, our hearts bleed for the individuals who are physically going through this grief; and we must send our heart-focused blessing to them. We must thank them compassionately, heart and soul, for they are sacrificing their lives in order for us to unite as one. Haiti and Chile because of the magnitude of the impact, are our teachers to awaken and not fall into the drama of the situation, but to become aware of the daily miracles that are being brought forth into our lives because of it.
We are faced with pain in order to understand that our pain would not seem less wondrous than our happiness. Just as we accept the seasons that pass through us and over our lands, so we must accept season of our hearts. As we watch our winters we see the winters grief of bitter cold, and yet if we watch closely we find the serenity of its gift to its people and the world.
It is tough to watch our brothers and sisters go through this tragedy, but it is within that heals the sickness that lies without. We must trust completely our Creator and partake in the remedy of oneness that blows gently new strength into our being. “If the eyes had no tears, the soul would have no rainbow” – Native American Proverb
Let us also not forget to especially radiate our heart-felt compassion to our Blessed Mother Earth. She is the pain we feel in our hearts. Do you understand that within your heart is the pain that the Earth is going through? The pulling and tearing within your soul is what Mother Earth is feeling. She is shifting and tearing the very fabric of our creation all for the accommodation to birth in a new world.
A new world, because we have forgotten oneness, the first peace, that which is the most important and that which lies within the souls of all the people. The one that we just have not wanted to understand. And as it has been said before, “What you do not understand, you will fear, and what we fear-one destroys.” When we come to realize the simplistic, that our oneness and all its power comes from the Universe and that the center of our core is everywhere and every place and it lies at the center, within us, then and only then is when we shall see peace.
Our single and only antidote, LOVE. Gods’ own sacred tears, are the only capable pieces that transform darkness into light and that guides us by the tender hands that can see the unseen. We must walk gently through the Earth and know its beauty: its people, its living organisms great and small; remembering that God is kind and wise and created us to be one…our true strength lies within us.
